H-E-B’s marketing team asked RSW for a Partner recognition promotion that used a scratch off lottery card as a thank you that managers could give to deserving Partners (H-E-B calls their employees “Partners”). RSW named the promotion “Thanks-A-Lotto” and designed the program to align with H-E-B’s Because People Matter employer branding.
Thanks-A-Lotto cards could be given to Partners for a job well done. Partners could then redeem the cards for fun prizes, discounts, or merchandise and then enter the cards into a drawing for a chance to win $2,000.
The promotion included the Thanks-A-Lotto cards themselves and a variety of awareness materials that could be posted in Partner areas throughout the stores or corporate offices.
